Accommodation/Meal arrangements

MEALS

The serving of meals will begin with breakfast on Saturday, July 10 for international lecturers and on Sunday, July 11 for international students and conclude for all participants with breakfast on Saturday, July 31. Participants will be provided only with breakfasts. All participants will have the opportunity to have their lunch in the university canteen for 65 CZK and dinners in restaurants close to the university dorms or downtown. Lunches can be paid in cash.  Only international lecturers and scholarship holders will get special meal coupons for lunches and dinners.

ACCOMMODATION

It is possible to apply for accommodation in single or double rooms. All scholarship holders and student from Central and Eastern Europe will be accommodated in double rooms only. Accommodation in a two-bedroom suite with shared bathroom and toilet facilities will be reserved for  all participants in the university dorms, for international lecturers from Friday, July 9, 2010 to Saturday, July 31, 2010 and for international students (except of scholarship holders) from Saturday, July 10, 2010 to Saturday, July 31, 2010. Accommodation for scholarship holders will be reserved from Sunday, July 11 to Saturday, July 31, 2010. The suite has a small refrigerator, a small stove, and a set of dishes. In addition, there are 2 kitchens on each floor with 2 stoves (each with 2 hotplates). Bed linen will be available.

CHECK-IN

You can register (scholarship holders from Sunday, July 11) at the university dorms from Saturday, July 10 to Sunday, July 11, 2010 until 10 p.m. At the check-in, you will receive your room number, a survival kit (containing essential information for a visitor to Pilsen), your timetable and the daily programme. Teaching materials will be distributed by lecturers in class.
Should you arrive after 10:00 p.m., please go directly to the dorms where the front desk clerk (Recepce) will have a record of your reservation and room number.
Should you not be able to attend the Summer School, please advise us as soon as possible so that the spot reserved for you can be offered to another applicant. Cancellations after the beginning of the Summer School will be handled on an individual basis.
