Foreign teachers: March 31, 2010. Announcement sent by April 10, 2010.
Czech teachers: April 30, 2010. Announcement sent by May 5, 2010.
Tram Pass (in Czech: tramvajenka)
If you want the Tram Pass - please mark (tick) appropriate column at the application form.
The Tram Pass will be sold from:
Friday July 9, 2010 from 4 pm - 8 pm, at the Dormitory: Máchova 20.
Saturday and Sunday July 10, July 11, 2010 from 9 am - 8 pm, at the Dormitory: Máchova 20
Monday, Tuesday July 12 until July 14, 2010 from 7 am - 6 pm, the Reception Desk at: Univerzitní 22.
The Tram pass is valid from Saturday July 10, 2010 until Friday July 30, 2010. Photograph is not needed.
Price: adults (from age 26 incl.): CZK 356
We are offering a course for children learning English (8 - 12 years old). If you have a child or children let us know whether you want to bring them with you to the Summer School. They can take part in the Czech children group and can enjoy the wonderful activities that will be planned. Upon request, we will send you more information regarding the children´s stay. If you would like to bring your child, please make a note in your application form.
If you arrive by plane on Friday, July 9, 2010 to Prague airport (Ruzyne) you can use the university bus, which will wait for international lecturers and TEFLERs on Friday afternoon. The exact time of the bus departure from the airport will be posted here in June 2010.
The bus will be ready to leave at 5.00 pm. Two members of the Reception Team will be waiting in the arrival sections at both terminals from 2.00 pm. holding a poster with the name of our university ("University of West Bohemia" or "Zapadoceska univerzita v Plzni").
We would appreciate if you could let me know whether you are going to take advantage of this bus - service (including No of your flight, time of arrival, name of the airlines) by June 25, 2010. If your flight is earlier/later let me know how we can help you. In case of emergency you can send SMS or call on mobile No: (+420) 606 157205. You will get an assistence from a Reception team member.
